1. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account, accessing DoctorMI, or using any DoctorMI feature, the user agrees to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

If the user does not agree to these Terms, the user should not use DoctorMI.

2. Medical Scope of the Service

DoctorMI is intended for medically related informational support, health organization, symptom guidance, document review assistance, and patient-controlled sharing workflows.

DoctorMI does not replace a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare professional. It does not guarantee diagnostic accuracy, treatment outcomes, or suitability for any specific user or clinical situation.

3. No Emergency Use

DoctorMI must not be used for emergencies. If a user may be experiencing an emergency, the user should contact local emergency services or seek immediate in-person care.

Examples include chest pain, stroke-like symptoms, severe breathing difficulty, seizures, severe bleeding, suicidal crisis, or anaphylaxis.

4. Accounts and Access

Certain features require registration, authentication, or an approved user role. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for activity that occurs under their account.

DoctorMI may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse prevention, moderation, legal compliance, or protection of the platform and its users.

5. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for the information and files they submit, including confirming that they have the right to upload, store, and share them.

Users must not misuse the service, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful content, interfere with the platform, or use DoctorMI in a way that could harm other people.

6. AI Outputs and Professional Judgment

DoctorMI responses, symptom guidance, summaries, and generated reports are provided for informational support only.

Any clinician or healthcare professional who reviews information produced through DoctorMI must exercise independent professional judgment and must not rely on DoctorMI as a sole basis for diagnosis, prescribing, or treatment decisions.

7. Uploaded Content, Reports, and Sharing

Users may upload records, complete profile information, generate reports, and use sharing tools made available in the product. Users remain responsible for reviewing the accuracy and appropriateness of content they submit or distribute.

Where DoctorMI offers report exports or secure sharing tokens, the user controls whether to use those features. Shared outputs should be reviewed before being sent to clinicians or third parties.

8. Paid Plans and Billing

DoctorMI may offer free and paid plans. Paid features, pricing, and limits are described at the point of purchase or within the app at the time of subscription.

A DoctorMI Pro purchase provides the monthly or annual access period selected at checkout from the verified payment date and does not renew automatically. Continued access requires a new purchase after the current period ends.

Payment processing and any refund rights remain subject to the purchase channel, applicable law, and the terms shown at checkout.

9. Intellectual Property

DoctorMI, including its software, branding, interfaces, design, and non-user-generated materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant users ownership of the service or permission to copy, reverse engineer, republish, resell, or commercially exploit DoctorMI except where law requires otherwise or written permission is given.

10. Disclaimers

DoctorMI is provided on an as-available and as-offered basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, error free, or suitable for every health, consumer, or professional scenario.

We do not warrant that AI-generated outputs, symptom matches, document interpretations, or recommendations will always be complete, accurate, or appropriate for a user's specific context.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, DoctorMI and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer, privacy, or healthcare law.

12. Termination

Users may stop using DoctorMI at any time.

Termination or suspension does not erase obligations that by their nature should survive, including confidentiality, accrued payment obligations, legal compliance, dispute-related obligations, and restrictions on misuse.

13. Governing Law and Product Changes

These Terms apply subject to mandatory consumer and privacy laws that protect users in their jurisdiction.

DoctorMI may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, subject to any notice required by law.
